Lowering CO2 emissions, meeting low carbon requirements and reducing fuel poverty are core to Frese District Heating and whilst we support alternative fuels, we believe that the level of wasted energy can be significantly reduced by controlling our energy production and supply.

Based on our extensive knowledge and expertise of district heating schemes, we focus on improving the energy efficiency of systems by reducing the overall consumption.

This can be achieved by delivering energy to the point of use with minimum losses and maximum control.

Efficiently matching the production of energy to the time and level of demand can significantly reduce consumption and ultimately cost. When the energy is demanded, it’s important that it’s delivered to the point of use with minimal losses which maximises efficiency and reduces the supply costs.

By achieving minimal losses during the supply and maximising control during demand, the energy consumption can be reduced by more than 8% and in some cases, more than 40%.
